Damon's career began before graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 2001. In May 1998, he started as an Administrative Assistant with Rendina Companies, a leading developer of healthcare real estate facilities. At Rendina he applied his creativity and editing skills to promote their marketing brochures. Additionally his technical expertise was utilized to troubleshoot, maintain and support office systems including the creation of cost-tracking spreadsheets and managing clerical assignments for staff.
By September of 1999, Damon held the Office Manager position for Foster Walsh, LLP, an Estate Planning/Mergers and Acquisitions law firm in San Diego. There he performed all management bookkeeping, accounts payable/accounts receivable and billing responsibilities while preparing yearly budget and quarterly reviews.
